2008

2008 was spent documenting as much as I could. I did not have too much business and I did not want to wait for the moment to photograph something, I just wanted to photograph everything. I did not care about the quality of the photograph, just having it. I knew that maybe no one would ever see them, but that they would tell the story of my life. A lot of my photography inspiration this year came from a trip my boyfriend, Ryan, and I took to Tennessee. There was so much to see and not enough time to see it all. We got to Memphis in the early morning, which is apparently the worst time to be there. Everything was closed. A bum came up to us an gave us a tour and history of the place. Apparently this is common there because begging is illegal. We thanked him, gave him some money and head out. I wish we were able to see more, but I did get some nice shots. Almost felt like a ghost town.
